ADL, founded by designer Massimo Luca, focuses on creating doors that are not simply furnishing items, but which complete a room by becoming part of it. ADL doors stand out because they transform into doorways that sub-divide rather than divide spaces, at the same time connecting them, creating what Ludwig Mies van der Rohe defined as “flowing spaces”.
ADL is the aesthetic form that arises from the function of the product; it is the union between technology and design, between functionality and aesthetics. ADL doors are pure technology, starting with the devices and going right through to the materials. Each single construction detail is conceived and designed to reach increasingly higher objective levels, with innovative products.
One of the most popular collection from ADL stable is “The Mitica Collection”. This collection is characterized by its meticulous aesthetics, given to the aluminium profile that houses the central glass pane, and to the geometry of the door frame which is made with 18 mm wide uprights and 36 mm wide crosspieces. Thanks to the high construction technology and the historicity of the product, ADL Mitica Door Collection is available with all types of opening systems.
SLIDING WITH SYNCHRONIZED DRAG
SLIDING INSIDE THE WALL
The fully opening pocket door has a flat pull handle for closing the leaf.
Even when there is a traditional counterframe, the ADL door jamb for cable covers makes it possible to create a minimal effect by applying a 12.5 mm thick sheet of plasterboard instead of a cable cover.
1.The offset pivot hinge allows the door to open to 180 degrees and is adjustable.
2.The hidden pivot hinge is completely concealed inside the leaf frame, limiting its to opening to a maximum of 120 degrees.
1.A swing pivot hinge pivot hinge is applied directly to the hallway door jamb and is adjustable thanks to the telescopic structure of the latter.
2.The pivot hinge opening system without door jambs is integrated into the leaf frame profile.
The floor recessed guide is used when 2 or 3 bi-folding leaves all fold away to then same side (to the right or left depending on the choice of opening).
