SICAM 2023 has once again demonstrated its effectiveness, garnering widespread recognition within the international furniture sector. The 14th edition of SICAM fair, held in Pordenone from October 17th to October 20th, exceeded expectations with the participation of over 650 exhibitors from Italy and 34 foreign countries. This showcase reaffirmed the vibrancy and significance of the components and accessories sector for the furniture industry. It played a pivotal role in shaping decisions affecting furniture presentations at major global exhibitions in the coming year.
Over the course of four days, the event saw the attendance of more than 20,000 visitors hailing from 112 countries, with approximately 9,000 companies in attendance. These industry professionals converged at the Pordenone fair to engage with their top suppliers. Within the ten halls spanning 18,420 square meters, a host of innovations were introduced across the entire supply chain.
One defining characteristic of the furniture show, as always, was the cultivation of high-profile business connections and commercial relationships. Carlo Giobbi, in particular, emphasized that these interactions remained a cornerstone of the SICAM format. During this edition, he also announced the transfer of SICAM’s management to Carolina Giobbi and Michele Giobbi.
SICAM continues to be a robust and high-performance platform, with a remarkable degree of loyalty shown by both exhibitors and visitors. Notably, applications for participation in the next edition have already exceeded previous years. This underscores the market’s continued confidence in the fair’s effectiveness, timing, and its strategic location in the heart of North East, establishing it as the preferred annual meeting point.
The debut of “Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM” generated significant interest and curiosity. This initiative was led by the Municipality of Pordenone. It celebrated an event that attracts thousands of attendees, offering over 90 appointments, meetings, exhibitions, and activities.
With that, the calendar is set for the 2024 edition, which will once again take place in Pordenone, running from Tuesday, October 15th to Friday, October 18th.
