Canadian Wood is back with another webinar on the topic of ‘Sustainable Forestry, Certifications, and Climate Change,’ following a successful ‘WOODINNOVATIONS‘ webinar series. Through webinars, Canadian Wood has been at the forefront of disseminating information about forestry as well as wood to all stakeholders. For the upcoming webinar, Canadian Wood has partnered with ICBC (Indo Canadian Business Chamber). It aims to highlight the importance of sustainable forest management, forest product certification as well as climate change.

For the benefit of all living things, sustainable forestry helps to maintain and improve the long-term health of forest ecosystems. British Columbia (B.C.) is a global pioneer in sustainable forest management, with a reputation for satisfying current and future generations’ environmental, social, and economic needs.

Canadian Wood is hosting a thought-provoking webinar on the importance of sustainable forestry management in collaboration with ICBC. In addition, the panel will explore certification of forest products and how forests may help mitigate climate change and reverse global warming.

Moreover, the panel will be chaired by Mr. Pranesh Chhibber, Country Director, Canadian Wood along with Mr. Arun Kumar Bansal, Chairperson, PCA, NCCF, PEFC-NGB, India, followed by a keynote address by Ms. Nadira Hamid, CEO, ICBC (Indo Canadian Business Chamber).
