Until now, levelling cabinetry required an unpleasant combination of shims or adjustable cabinet feet and a level, as well as some exhausting gymnastics to make everything work. The more heavy the cabinet, the more difficult it is to level it. To make a cabinet light enough to spin the adjusting legs, installers must remove all internal pieces of the cabinet (particularly drawer systems).
The unique winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2019, the new Axilo Plinth Adjusting Fitting System from Häfele America Co. has invented another way to the level kitchen, office, closet, or other cabinetry.
Axilo means plinth levelling in just a few manual operations. The adjusting tool acts as an arm extension. So, no more bending, crawling or stretching—with Axilo, you can easily reach the rear feet of the plinth as well. The installer has a view of the level at all times for trouble-free alignment. Also, this can be carried out by rotating by hand or by using a cordless screwdriver, thanks to a ¼” bit holder. The adjusting tool can be applied and operated from nearly any angle to the special Axilo Adjustment Feet and can be used for plinth heights of 50 – 220 mm.
