Armstrong MetalWorks Floating Ceilings are a durable and stylish metal false ceiling solution. The specifications of the two variants of metal floating ceilings from Armstrong are:
1. MetalWorks Baffles
Specifications
- The material of baffle is extruded aluminium
- Materials for end caps are plastic or metal
- The material for suspension system is galvanized mild steel that is black in color
- Surface finish: factory-applied polyester powder coat
- End caps finish in black, with special colours upon application
- Flame Spread/ Fire Resistance standards: Conforms to BCA Spec. C1.10 and tested to AS/NZS 3837: 1998 – “Group 1” AS/NZS 1530.3
- Weight of 100mm Baffles at 100mm centres: 10.20 kgs/m2
- Armstrong provides a limited warranty of ten (10) years
- Installation is quick and easy
- Recommended suspension system is U-Profile Channel on 5mm Rod and suspension clips at 1200x1200mm centres.
