With its innovative urban-only focus, the Cologne design fair will take place from 26-29 October 2025. This 4-day celebration will feature 100+ design brand showcases, an extensive themed information programme and exclusive networking opportunities, all happening directly in the heart of the city where people live and work.

Leading brands and venues, shaping a city-wise design experience at the cologne fair 2025
With a fresh approach, idd cologne will create an integrated city-wide experience for all. Key venues like Stoff-Pavillon Moeller, an architectural landmark of post-war modernism, designed by Wilhelm Riphahn; Design Post Köln, a renowned meeting place for international design members; and machwerkhaus köln, a centre for design and urban production, will serve as a premier stage for top brands, including Bielefelder Werkstätten + IP, Bretz, COR, Evavaara Design, and Hem. This list of leading brands will also have Kaas + Heger, Kettnaker, KFF, Lammhults, Möbiotec, Möller Design, Raumkörper, Ruhe & Raum and THONET.
A dedicated place, “Light Hall” at Machwerkhaus Köln, will be spreading the spotlight on innovative light solutions. Well-known producers and designers, such as Baltensweiler, Buschfeld, Casambi and Oligo will unveil their newest collections, prototypes, and designs here. The event will also feature workshop insights and exclusive collections by designers. Also, it will host lectures and learning programmes on the theme of smart building.
Additionally, over 20 local showrooms and store partners will also be participating in cologne design fair 2025. Spaces such as Bretz Store, Heerdt, JAN KATH, smow with bulthaup and Stoll Wohnbedarf + Objekt, will welcome the attendees to explore premium brands firsthand.
