From 21 – 23 November 2024, the Yashobhoomi Expo Centre in Dwarka, Delhi will host the 29th edition of Light + LED Expo India. Spanned over an area of 14,000 gross sqm, the exhibition shall serve as the gathering place for professionals across the lighting industry. The Light + LED lighting show has earned a reputation as a premier platform for discovering design innovations, exploring technological advancements and connecting with the lighting and design community. As a major event in the Light + Building portfolio by Messe Frankfurt GmbH, this expo has turned into a leading business hub for the entire industry offering vast opportunities for networking, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge.
Significance of the event
Being India’s exclusive exhibition throwing a spotlight on advanced lighting technology, the Light + LED Expo India shall display more than 240 exhibitors representing more than 1,000 brands from both domestic and international regions. Additionally, the product categories exhibited at the event range from LEDs, Electrical engineering, Indoor-outdoor lighting, Decorative lighting, LED manufacturing equipment/machinery and allied products, LED components/accessories and raw materials, building and home automation and more. Apart from India, the Expo shall also present participation from six countries including China, Finland, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and the UAE.
The upcoming Light + LED lighting exhibition will also attract business visitors from different sectors including architects, interior designers, lighting designers, consultants, specifiers, energy service companies (ESCOS), government agencies, public utilities, real estate developers, dealers and distributors, and many more. The previous edition of the lighting show was held in 2022. It had visitors from 545 Indian cities from 27 States and 5 Union Territories. Moreover, there were International buyers from 34 countries who visited the exhibition.

- Electric Lamp and Component Manufacturers’ Association of India (ELCOMA) will host an industry conference titled ‘Lighting the Future’.
- Illuminating Engineering Society (IES): This certification program will cater to lighting designers and architects, facilitating an in-depth exchange of ideas on various aspects of lighting technology, design and applications.
- Women in Lighting (WIL): WIL shall also host a session at the lighting exhibition providing valuable insights into different facets of lighting design and the challenges faced by the industry from a unique perspective.
