dormakaba is further strengthening its market presence in India with the launch of a new Customer Experience Centre in the Indian capital, Delhi. This strategic move follows the successful openings of similar centers in key economic hubs — Mumbai in 2023 and Bangalore in 2021. These centers serve as interactive spaces where customers and partners can explore the full range of dormakaba’s innovative security and access solutions firsthand. Additionally, the centres provide an opportunity for on-site training, allowing users to gain practical insights into the product offerings and their applications. With this growing network of experience centres, dormakaba ensures that customers across various regions in India have access to hands-on demonstrations and personalized support, strengthening its relationship with the Indian market.

India is one of dormakaba’s seven key markets, along with North America, Germany, Switzerland, Australia/New Zealand, the UK/Ireland, and China. In the 2023/24 financial year, dormakaba’s business in India in the Access Solutions segment maintained its momentum, recording double-digit organic growth.

As part of the implementation of the group-wide growth strategy, a Global Specification Center in Chennai started operations at the beginning of 2024. It supports all dormakaba markets with a team of specification experts. One of the three shared service centers in India was also set up in 2024, taking over operational activities for the Asian region. In addition, the regional production center in Chennai was expanded due to growing demand in the airport sector. These measures will sustainably support dormakaba’s further growth.
