False ceilings generally do not require much maintenance and only need cleaning from time to time. The cleaning process varies as per the material used to make the ceiling design. For example, while cleaning a mineral fiber ceiling, use a moist cloth with a detergent solution to wipe the surface. Similarly, you will need a duster and non-abrasive soap for a metal roof. The simplest way to clean most ceilings is by using a feather duster or a vacuum cleaner.
