India’s major lighting and LED show, Light + LED Expo India organised at Yashobhoomi, Delhi stressed the advanced range of lighting solutions. The product display at the expo included energy-efficient, sensor-based, human-centric and visually appealing lighting solutions. Bringing the whole Indian lighting and LED fraternity, the event saw 11,211 visitors from across 377 cities of India, 34 states and Union Territories and 20 nations. Displaying intelligent solutions for the future, the lighting expo provided visitors and exhibitors with attractive business opportunities. Moreover, it featured 229 exhibitors of which 126 companies were from intelligent lighting solutions. Brimming with business enquiries, the show received positive feedback from exhibitors with 93% of them expecting a post-fair business. Multiple workshops and knowledge sessions conducted in partnership with the IES, WIL, LiDAI and ELCOMA, on intricacies and ideas of playing with light and increasing its impact on user experiences and functional use.
Jagadish Easwar, Executive Director – Telecom & IT, Sonepar India Pvt Ltd shared his experience as an exhibitor-
He spoke about how he has been working with Sonepar India for the past 15 years and this was their first participation at the Messe Frankfurt India show while they have participated in their other global shows. He said that the experience was wonderful and he is looking forward to participating in their future exhibitions as well.
Parag Parekh, General Manager, Kevin Electrochem remarked-
Parag appreciated the Light + LED Expo for providing networking opportunities to exhibitors like them with lighting solutions industry professionals. He said that having been a part of the exhibition for more than a decade, the platform has provided a very good opportunity, particularly to their higher authority for meeting each and everyone in a span of three days. He concluded by saying that the platform is very good for them to reach their very wide customer base.
Jayant Patel, Representative – Sales Head, Litex Lighting commented-
He said that they are LED light importers and they saw an amazing response with great B2B visitors and some architects. He further added that their association with LED Expo has been for a while and there has been an upgrade in their stall and overall experience with every passing year.
Sanjeev Singh, AGM Marketing, Optiks Mechatronics Pvt Ltd, stated-
Their association with the lighting industry has been for 15 years. They are a manufacturer of LED lenses and have gained a lot of benefits and opportunities through the light show to meet new clients, all the OEMs and the industry professionals. Over the last two days, they received some very interesting queries regarding lighting solutions at the expo.
Kuldeep Gupta, Managing Director, Lumens Technologies talked about his experiences-
The company showcased its Colossus range of products, emphasizing its reputation for introducing cutting-edge technologies in the Indian market. It launched a diverse range of smart and Bluetooth-enabled drivers for both waterproof and non-waterproof applications. At the LED Expo, the team expressed appreciation for the opportunity to unveil their innovations and engage with manufacturers, extending gratitude to Messe Frankfurt for organizing the event.
Sarvdeep Basur, Founder & Product Lighting Designer, Lucent Worldwide expressed his delight-
He expressed pleasant surprise at the scale and quality of the lighting solutions expo, noting significant growth compared to an ELCOMA event attended 8–10 years ago. He also praised the well-organized venue, impressive exhibits, futuristic products, and high attendance. The knowledge sessions and group discussions were described as exceptional, with fruitful discussions and high-quality panellists, surpassing similar sessions at other expos. Lastly, he highlighted the potential for the exhibition to evolve into a more consumer lighting-focused show, particularly with the participation of quality exhibitors.

Arun Kumar described the Light + LED lighting solutions show as fantastic, emphasising the impactful collaboration between Messe Frankfurt India and ELCOMA in supporting the industry.
