Canadian Wood organizes a seminar in Gurgaon for buying houses to promote certification & sustainability

Forestry Innovation Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. (FII India), the British Columbia (B.C.) provincial government’s crown corporation is popularly known as Canadian Wood. The organization hosted a successful and enlightening seminar for buying houses on the topic ‘Certified wood for a sustainable future’. The insightful seminar was organized at Le Méridien, Gurgaon. Various buying houses and industry experts attended the event to talk about the ecological and practical benefits of the numerous Canadian Wood species in furniture design and manufacturing.

About the Canadian Wood seminar

The event featured informative presentations from respected speakers and notable experts including, Pranesh Chhibber, Country Director, Canadian Wood and Dr. Jimmy Thomas, Assistant Director-Technical Services, Canadian Wood. Pranesh Chibber spoke about the environmental benefits and robustness of Canadian Wood laying emphasis on its role in promoting sustainable practices within the Indian industry. He also shed some light on important wood certification bodies like FSC and PEPC. Dr. Jimmy Thomas explained the technical aspects and inventive applications of Canadian Wood at the event.
