The inauguration event for the expansive 13000-sq.ft. CoE at Pelhar in Vasai, on August 5, stood as a remarkable industry milestone. It highlighted Canadian Wood’s resolute dedication to propelling sustainable practices and fostering workforce skill development. Caple, renowned for its adeptness in delivering top-tier training and development facilities, also conveyed their excitement about the launch.

Collaborating with the Furniture Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) empowers Canadian Wood to deliver exceptional training sessions, providing participants with vital industry expertise. The unveiling of the Centre of Excellence on August 5th in Vasai witnessed the presence of prominent industry leaders, professionals, and media representatives. Canadian Wood aims to use this platform to educate, upskill, as well as empower all levels of the workforce. This includes a workforce of carpenters, machine operators, production managers, and decision-makers. Moreover, the initiative aims to provide best practices in handling, manufacturing, and machining wood, promoting sustainable wood and production practices.

These exquisite wood species have been artfully utilised to craft training centre spaces, elegant counters, exquisite panelling, and captivating wood interiors.
